JDM reacted to Patrick Connor in Image rotated, can't undo
Also the Rotation of the canvas can be avoided in future as it has a checkbox in Preferences > Tools > "Enable Canvas Rotation"

You've probably used the canvas view rotation, which is used to work with the brush more easily and accurately - just as you roll paper on a table when you draw or write on it. Because it is not a rotation of the image on the canvas, but a rotation of the view of the canvas, it is not saved in the document editing history.

The operations under the "View" menu aren't part of the common Undo/Redo-chain, aka the "Undo Manager", thus they operate independently from the Undo-/Redo-Cmd chain.

JDM reacted to kirkt in How do I get rid of this space on my Affinity Photo window?
@JDM It is the Macro and Library panels. Go to View > Studio > and uncheck Macro and Library.

Instead of that, go to View > Studio > Hide Left Studio (or wording to that effect...)

JDM reacted to walt.farrell in TOC making two lines for every chapter.
Also, here's an approach that lets you have the ":" in the TOC. On page 3 (Chapter 2) I put an "invisible" colon. The title is "Chapter 2:" but in the Character panel I set the color of the ":" to none. (You could also use the Context Toolbar, of course.)
I'm not sure who first mentioned that technique, that I had forgotten when composing the earlier post.

JDM got a reaction from walt.farrell in TOC making two lines for every chapter.
Walt,
Wow, such a fast reply. And it works!
You must get an alert with every new post.
Thanks so much.
I gave you a "heart", is that like a "+"? If not tell me how to add to your "reputation".

You can get close:
Use a line break after the chapter number on the document page, then Use a character style to change the appearance of the second line. That way both lines are part of the same heading. When creating the TOC there's an option to remove line breaks, which will put both the "Chapter 1" and the chapter title text on the same line in the TOC.
However, as far as I know you cannot get the ":" between them, unless you actually put it on the page or edit the TOC manually. [Edit: See below for a variant that lets you have an invisible ":" on the document page that will show up in the TOC.]
