[Image rotated, can't undo]

I was using the Burn Brush (in Photo on Mac), moving the mouse and hit some key on keyboard and the image rotated. I could not undo, and the action does not show in history.

What did I do to cause this rotation, and how do I undo it?

I clicked on something somewhere, and now whenever I open Photo, I have 3" of white space to the right of my Tool Bar.

What is it, and how do get rid of it?
