I´m saving a lot. Doing some pausing between strokes, it seems to help some. It still crashes from time to time. Finished that part of the project, so I havent used the pen tool a lot lately, but I`m going to need it soon. So I hope there will be a fix.

Hi, I´m having the same issue. Both freehand vector tool and pencil tool. Can draw for a few minutes, and then suddenly crashes. MacOS 10.15.6, Affinity Designer 1.8.4 and Wacom Cintq 16 with the latest drivers. Quick edit: It will crash if you just draw with the mouse as well.
