  1. Apologies I get it now. My AD is working in px and the workshop is working in mm. Maybe they have their line default to 2mm which is why the PDF is forcing to my line width but the SVG adopts their format. Thanks for that.
  2. Sorry if this is a double posting - my earlier one seems to have disappeared. I am making a design for acid etching. The lines in AD are 0.4 mm. I first exported to the workshop in PDF and they said the lines were 0.17 mm and too small for the process. I tried exporting as SVG and now they are double the size (see attach fcid...). This is strange as I have exported successfully from AD before. The acid workshop is using Adobe Illustrator on a PC. The file I am working on is originally from an earlier version of AD that I have amended and then saved in the latest version.
  3. Hi, I have designed work for an acid etching job. There are fold lines (dotted) and through lines (continuous). I have done these at 0.4 mm (see Affinity attach) which should be OK for the job. When I export the file as a PDF the guy at the etching place is telling me the lines are below 2mm so cannot be used in the job. I tried exporting the same file as an SVG but this now gives what looks like 0.8 mm lines (see Acid... attach). Do you have any idea what is causing this?
