  1. Thanks, but not sure this is what I am trying to achieve. In Illustrator you can separate the fx layer from it's parent layer, thus creating it's own layer. Just wondering if this is possible in Affinity Designer. I can't seem to see that it is...
  2. Does anyone know if it is possible to separate a layers "effects" / fx into it's own layer? Similar to how we can do this in Adobe Illustrator? I am speaking specifically in Affinity Designer. Basically take this layer's effects and turn it into its own layer - https://prnt.sc/LI-IOjlfTBsz Thanks, Aaron
  3. Thanks for the reply. I don't have the IDML file, only PDF supplied by client. I've attached the file for reference. test-table.afpub
  4. Hey guys, I imported an Adobe InDesign PDF file into Affinity Publisher, and I have this weird Blockquote line / left line prepending the text field in my table - https://www.loom.com/i/7d0838a40f2449cfa9bacc1cd43c2686 For the life of me I can't figure out how to get rid of it. All character and paragraph styles have been cleared (no style) - https://www.loom.com/i/ae4d67edf41844a595ccad911d156c6f and https://www.loom.com/i/1ac4cea085c842358040ffbbaaa3a80b Any suggestions how to remove this line? I'm probably missing something super simple... Thanks, Aaron
  5. Ok, so it doesn't quite work like Adobe where you click color using the eyedropper and it automatically colors it. Noted on your comment. Thanks.
  6. Hey guys, moving from Adobe to Affinity (and super stoked). For the life of me, I can't get the color picker/eye dropper working. https://prnt.sc/ulxtqb - nothing happens when I click it and other than holding my mouse button and dragging it down to an area, where it kind of feels like it is doing something, but doesn't pick up any color. What am I doing wrong? I just want to use this eyedropper tool to pick up a color and assumed it would be easy.
  7. Question - is there a way of sharing library assets between all three programs (Photo, Designer & Publisher) and able to share between staff/team members? Like in Creative Cloud?
