  1. We are in 2015 and modern operating systems can get rid of the old limitations. And since we are talking of the Mac ecosystem, let's think different ! ;) 
  2. Congratulations Ronnie ! :) Anybody still having doubts about using Affinity products in pro market ? :P
  3. Hi Malcolm Thanks a lot for sharing your wonderful conceptual work here. The 1 and 4 suit perfectly the game because you clearly see the train in the back. But I really like Wei, as you pointed it out, it's a very clean design and the contrast between the angel face character and the big bazooka works perfectly. The zombies are fun but that might be confusing with other "zombies killing" games already out there. All are very well designed though :)
  4. Hi SKD You should contact Apple for an exchange. I once got an iMac with a persistence problem like that. When I was booting up, while having the gray screen, I could notice traces of the menu bar at the top. It could be also something more noticeable because of the retina. I don't know about that.
  5. Reverse engineering ;) But personally, I prefer that you use your development resources to add new features and improve existing ones :)
  6. Hi nametag I would use the circle shape and snapping to the isometric grid.
  7. Hi WalterBeiter Do the opposite, drag the picture as a child of your oval layer. If you select the oval, you'll move both, if you select the picture layer (the children), you'll be able to reposition you photo ;)
  8. My pleasure ;) Had to use that since on french keyboard [ and ] don't work. But I find that method more convenient anyway. For the color picker, don't want to say something wrong but alt+click seems sufficient (Found that 30mn ago)
  9. I agree ! :) May be you could add something as a background ? Just a thought.
  10. Actually you already have that. Ctrl+Alt and left click. Horizontally, you change the brush size, vertically, the hardness. And while you do this, you have your two circles to see what you're doing. :)
  11. Ahhhh ! I switched on that machine  I just loved it ! I probably still have it somewhere and I'm sure it will still boot up like a charm.
  12. I have to say, I had to play with the layers a bit to make the difference between them. But with the video, it's now pretty clear (I hope ! ) When you start to have a big stack of layers, you have to check the icon on them, it will tell you if it's a pixel one, an adjustment or a live filter. Be careful too when you apply a filter, which layer is selected. Actually, whatever you do, have a look first on the selected layer ;)
  13. Great job bamboo8R ! Really neat. The softness of gradients is just perfect. You're studying pretty well ;)
  14. Hi agoago It's the domain in which you'll be able to use that palette. Document : Only in the current document System : System wide Application : It's associated to AP/AD and you'll be able to use it for other documents
  15. Hi rami.tamir It depends of your OS settings. It can be done automatically or you can just have an alert that a new version is available. You should have a look in System Preferences > App Store. You'll have all the options.
