  1. I am grateful for all the hard work you guys do for us especially through the holidays! This beta fixes all my issues with it and I can now proceed with using V2.
  2. Gotta export the text as curves even though your file was already curves for it not to break in Apub until they fix it.
  3. Likely this is font issues. Affinity took a big step backwards when they changed the way fonts are handled in the new 2.0 but I hope they get this resolved soon because the new changes sounded like it should be far better than the old method how they handled fonts. I ran into font issues already with exporting SVGs so I believe a workaround for now would be to convert your PDFs as curves to remove all fonts.
  4. I was having the same problem with my SVGs from Designer 2.0, I fixed this by exporting them from Designer 2.0 as curves which is unchecked by default. Maybe the export by default exports them as raster images which seems to confuse Publisher 2.0? I noticed when I would reopen the file after placing them that Publisher 2.0 was showing them not as vectors but as low-resolution images. Once I made them curves from Designer 2.0 it seems to be working correctly. I also noticed it didn't like my font in Publisher if I tried to convert it to curves in Publisher the text wouldn't convert and just disappeared. So, my guess would be this entire issue is tied to Publisher not liking the fonts? I've had many problems in past with Publisher 1 not liking certain fonts.
  5. I found a solution to files not loading... Luckily, I didn't waste too much time figuring out what was wrong for me. Which was a permission issue. Heads up to anyone that downloads folders from Google Drive or any other place, you need to create a new folder and paste everything there and delete the old one. Files won't load from folders that were created outside your computer. If you can rename the file, it should load. In my case, Windows 11 wouldn't even allow me to rename the files until I copied them to a new folder.
  6. I wonder if this bug is tied to the account, I noticed I had to relog into mine and redownload my addons, cause it's not crashing anymore for me.
  7. Not sure if this really fixed it but seems to be working now after installing the new Windows 10 21H11 update, after which Affinity Photo Crashed on start but since then it's been stable.
  8. Updated to 1.10, mostly seeing consistent crashes in Photo above all. Every time I make too many changes with layer adjustments. Running on Win 10, new gaming laptop with RTX 3060 all drivers up to date.
  9. I think this could be tied to a graphics card issue. Both my Macbook Pro and My Microsoft Surface Pro both have the problem. I tested it also on my Windows Server that has 2 Nvidia GTX video cards running which performed almost perfectly with a few minor corner issues. Server test screen attached.
  10. BUG REPORT - What happens when I Expand the Stroke. Everything I tried doesn't work on this particular font and rasterizing is not an option for me due to professional publishing needs. The only workaround for me on this one was taking it into another software to make the paths. I wish there was a fix for this in Affinity. This issue really needs to be fixed or at least some way to have a viable workaround. Font is Krupper Additionally, I first noticed the font was breaking from Publisher when exporting to PDF. So I tried to convert to curves in Desginer which causes the font to break. Running MacOS 10.15.5 & Affinity 1.8.4 Steps to repeat this: Download Krupper Font Add Stroke set to 3.5 Convert to Curves Expand Stroke New Document file attached as well as a photo.
