Cool, thank you! I added the text to the Affinity software, as suggested by someone in the thread and the Wacom tablet now works! Thanks for your help - there's no way I would have fixed this by myself!

I've discovered the problem only happens when I use my digital tablet and pen. It makes everything go haywire. if I unplug it and use just my mouse I can place images, re-scale them and move them around the page, no problem... but if I plug my Wacom digital tablet back in it goes very weird! Anyone else had this problem and know a solution?

Nope, it turns out you can't download an older version over a newer update - anyone got any ideas on what the problem is and how to fix it?!

OK, I'm downloading the previous version... I wasn't sure if you could download older previous versions or if once you'd updated to the newest version you were stuck with it... unless you took it all off and started again - which I really didn't want to do!

Then when I do 'place' to paste the image it looks like this - see new attached picture. When i try to move it with the 'move' tool the image I've just placed it disappears!

When I open up a new A4 document with no guidelines on it, i hover over the page and it adds random guidelines - see image attached

Hi, I've just updated my Affinity Designer to the latest version: 1.8.4... and I have to say, I don't like it! Can I take the update off, does anyone know, and go back to my previous version? When I open a new A4 blank document it adds guidelines which I don't want. and when I do 'file - Place' it pastes the image actual size and when I try to move it or re-scale it to make it smaller it disappears. The previous version allowed me to place an image and it placed it small scale. Then I could re-size it by dragging out one of the corners to make it bigger. If I clicked on it I could move it around the page easily - now I can't find how to scale it - or how to move it without it disappearing and weird blue guidelines being added. How do I go back to my previous version of Affinity Designer? Or failing that how do I get rid of the guidelines and be able to scale and move images on the page easily?
