  1. I'm fine with the browser-based Discord, and thanks for pointing this out.
  2. If you're willing to shell out a little for it, and you'd prefer the credits to look hand-lettered, might I suggest Comicraft's Credit Crunch? Looking for other options...
  3. I missed that keynote, I think. Will have to look it up later...
  4. Nicely done! Long been interested in user interface design in a general way, whether we're talking car/truck dashboards, airplane/helicopter cockpits or FUI from superhero/space opera SF shows and comics...
  5. Well, Gotham...Metropolis...that was akin to waving a cape in front of any IP lawyer with any basic North American comics knowledge. There are more obscure names at hand. But I digress.
  6. TMI: Too Much Information. The rest I'm unclear on. Being Canadian, we're working on developing our own dialects of English, province by province, region by region...distinctly from British, American, Australian, New Zealander, etc..
  7. I'm Dwight Williams. Sometimes a writer, sometimes an illustrator and designer, sometimes an office worker. I call the Ottawa-Gatineau/National Capital region of Canada home. I bought the Affinity suite Mac version in 2020, and am finding them useful for various personal projects so far. I hope to extend that into professional work, in public and/or private sectors. If I can't do that, the suite is still useful for other things.
  8. @Padhu I don't use those languages in my own projects, but I agree that anyone using this suite should have their languages supported on general principle.
  9. I haven't had either opportunity or need to use such fonts as of this morning.
  10. We can customize our own packing tape designs now? 😎
  11. Last I checked Noto Sans' design team was trying to cover just about every writing system currently known to humans, right?
  12. Looks useful! More as I learn to use palettes in general!
  13. Thanks much for these! Looking forward to working my way through these videos as time allows!
  14. Some of you might be interested in this video from Comicraft, one of the comic-book font design and lettering houses, via YouTube and apparently, they're taking steps into variable font tech. Narrated by John Gaushell... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYgZ_jX_36s
  15. This looks useful for cards I design on the spur of the moment, so thank you kindly!
