I seem to be having a similar issue with Designer in 1.10.6 on MacOS 10.15.7. Not using iCloud for anything here, so I'm not sure what's happening.
-
The purpose I have in mind is more in line with Facebook, MeWe, and maybe Twitter's profile page design styles.
Thank you in any case.

Okay this might be useful for helping a friend out.
Thank you!

I believe so, yes.

Page templates, with panel borders?
-
I could be misreading that post. It's happened before with other things.
-
About those page layout vectors...? I can't seem to find links...?
Yes, I'm still using v.1.10.x as my hardware and finances are limiting me right now. -

Update on progress...
@TrentL The text box I've since added is meant to imply/explain that my focus here is on history, not astrography. This map is meant as an adjunct to a work of fan fiction designed as a historical text. The "Romulan Neutral Zone" line - like most of the positions of star systems and bases depicted - is meant to mirror the material I'm sourcing, specifically Star Trek: Star Charts and Star Trek: Stellar Cartography (Second Edition). Yes, that border was hand-corrected to match it as well.As for the cluster/nebula zones, I have a limited number of suitable Styles to work with here. I would like to get my hands on a wider range of such Styles for further experimentation.

I'm working up a historical starmap for a fan fiction project, with data adapted from Star Trek, and stylistic cues from the old Dent's Canadian/School Atlas' front half material, which was usually produced in black and white with usage of tones and/or spot colours. This is intended to be ink-usage-friendly for other fans' purposes. I expect to creative derivative works devoted to marking systems particularly notable for "key" resources specific to that mythology, and possibly other spin-offs as well.
I'm working in Affinity Designer 1.10.6 because that's as far as my hardware and budget will currently allow.I guess I'm looking for additional "tone"/"Style" resources that may be particularly useful for this project. If you have any recommendations...?

Where's the original topic? I'm still using v.1.??...
-
Sidebar question: are there any good architectural symbol asset sets?
-
Sad news, indeed.
-
A good question to raise, particularly now. Thank you!

Its a bloody pity. I love Affinity and was really looking forward to V2.
Seconding this, as I'm back at High Sierra for the foreseeable future. 😞

Some of these look particularly useful for comics design...
-
If suggestions are being taken for additions to this set, I'd like to ask for Dreamwidth. Having moved on to that service after the Putinist takeover of Livejournal...
-
Okay, this is a thing I needed to be reminded was possible! Thank you!
-
Well, this is good news, just in case! Thanks for raising the question, @MS63 and also to you, Walt, for delivering the answer!
-
I'm planning to stick around, partly because I'm already involved in non-Affinity-related servers.
-
I'm also actively looking for brushes and other resources that go well with cartographic projects.
-
I'm already familiar with Ray Larabie's Canada 1500, and will definitely recommend it.
-
Looking forward to trying these out, thanks much!

I haven't updated this since the end of August?
Oops.
Still classified as a Work In Progress, FYI. Deviations from aired and published canon at the discretion of Edge of Midnight author John Concagh and myself as map designer.
