priority

I thought I had AD setup for multiple windows (separated mode)! Somehow, I must have changed it back and was not looking for the tabs. Still need to re-establish the habit of "save early, save often". Thanks!!!!

Relatively new to Affinity Designer (v1.8.3 on a Mac), but this "feature" has me concerned. If I am editing one file and forget to save my edits, if I open another file from the "Open Recent" menu item, all edits are tossed without warning and the "Recent File" is opened. After testing this repeatedly, I also found that this "deletion of edits without warning" also occurs if I create a New File without saving edits. I have never seen any software not warn a user that there are unsaved edits and I don't see any options in preferences to stop this "feature". Is there a way to ensure Affinity Designer will prompt me about unsaved edits before opening another file?
