  1. Hi, I'm an Affinity noob and wasn't able to find an answer on this anywhere, so apologies if this is a well-known thing or a double post, or I'm just Doing It Wrong. What I'm trying to do: simultaneously scale/position several placed images via the gradient tool. What happens: as soon as I move/scale the image, change the extend option, or choose a different quality, all of the placed images become duplicates of the topmost image. Steps to reproduce: In a document, file > place; select & open multiple images. Click the canvas or drag/size to place each. Select all and convert to curves. (I've also used the node tool at this point to pull the edges of smaller placed images to the edges of the canvas; the outcome is the same regardless.) Using the gradient tool, do any of the following: Move the layers. Scale the layers. In the contextual toolbar, select an extend option. In the contextual toolbar, change the quality option. (Ctrl-z undoes the duplication effect and keeps the quality selection.) As soon as any of these things are done, all layers will become duplicates of the topmost layer. I am using macOS Catalina 10.15.6, Affinity Photo 1.8.3. I wasn't using any external tablets, drives, etc. at the time. No idea what other applications might be relevant, but I was running a ridiculous number of graphics intensive applications. I tried restarting Affinity Photo as well as restarting my computer with minimal programs running, just to cover my bases. I'm brand new to Affinity Photo, so this isn't something I previously tried & had work for me. It works as expected for a single placed image. Video! I'm pressing ctrl-z after each action that does the thing. Affinity Photo Bitmap Fill Bug.mov (While I'm here, I want to sneak in nthing the ability to stroke selection, and thank you profusely for integrating TGA import/export.)
