Affinitity Designer software no longer starts.

I first ran the trial version Affinity designer software on my imac os 10.9.5 that went well. Now I have bought the program. and installs. I had opened a document Affinity crashed. Then I restarted the program and asked if I wanted to recover the document or not. I chose not to but it didn't help it crashed every time. How can I start the program properly without asking if I should restore the document or not?
