  1. This is awesome. Thank you for your time and effort, I really appreciate it. I will let you know how I go One more question, I want to see if I can make the colours darker etc, should I do that before removing the background? I suppose easier to see with the white background still intact.
  2. Hi, Thank you for all your help, I appreciate it. This is the original image. 2nd where I saved it as PNG.
  3. It is the same picture as in the first message. or do you mean example of me trying to erase the background? Thanks
  4. Thank you, may I ask something else please, I am very new with this all. Is there any other way of using the erase brush tool or to copy the picture without the background to new layer. I have tried the selection tool but it deletes parts of my picture, or takes parts with it. What I mean, how to do it more precise, or is the only way to zoom in and erase with erase brush? Thank you
  5. Can somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong. It was a jpeg which I made a PNG. I removed the white background, so have the transparency, but when I put it on the shirt it still shows a shaded box? how do I get rid of it? Thank you Shirt_example.afphoto
  6. Thank you so much, I really appreciate your time on this. I am going to get to work I will let you know how it comes out. Cheers
  7. Thank you Garry, Yes you are right it is too big, and I have scaled it down. What I meant by the clear, is make the outline of the tree darker, (green part) and more visible and I would like to recolour it. Same with the clouds. How do I change the colour of the clouds? If I want make them grey/blue? The black outline, stroke lines of the giraffe is not consistent the same thickness and hardness. So it doesn't look smooth. Can I change the thickness of the stroke or will I have to redraw the picture. I apologise for not being more to the point before. Thank you.
  8. Hi Garry, Thank you for your reply, I really appreciate it, I know this might not be as exciting as some of the projects on the forum The background i would like to clean up, there is some coloring marks in green, I will use the eraser tool as suggested, I was trying to do it with the flood selection, but for some reason, it selects, but doesnt delete, is just says not AP not responding. I not sure if I did something wrong. But it keeps on doing it, so I gave up on that. I want to print on a tshirt, so want to make the outlines more clear, clean up the clouds and tree, the green and inside coloring not clear. How can I select only the green of the tree for instance and make more clear/prominent. Then if I do recolour what will be the best way to go about it, to get the same kind of effect, or should I rather vector the whole picture? Thank you again,
  9. Hi, hope somebody can help me please. I am newbie to designer and photo and I have this sketch that I would like to clean up. I have used some blend modes but some parts still not enhanced(outlines) enough if that is the right word. 1. I would like to clean up the background, there are a few colored lines that i want to remove. 2. The clouds and tree outlines need to be made darker or recolored, Can I recolor it? and not sure how to delete and recolor the inside so that it looks natural? , or should I vector it first and then recolor? 3. Can you select only a part of the drawing to make changes? as with the blend modes for instance, it does the whole sketch, how can I only choose a specific part. I know it is a lot of questions, if anybody have a moment, I would really appreciate it. Many thanks M.
