  1. Hi @John Rostron, I hadnt tried that, but it would still involve several manual steps, as part of my workflow duplicates whatever my base image is at multiple steps and applies certain filters, masks, etc.
  2. Hi there, I have a workflow where I have multiple pixel layers and adjustment layers. Most of the adjustment layers have masks that I invert as part of the macro, so i can unmask sections later. I record a macro to pre-lay these all out. That goes fine. When resetting an image and playing back the macro, it throws the inverted mask out as a separate layer, which basically masks the entire image. Other attempts to re record have seen similar but different results, where the mask will get applied to a different layer, or a layer will be duplicated and masked. I have read through the actions list in the macro and it makes perfect sense, as I recorded it, however there seems to be bugs when trying to play the macro. Is this known? Makes AP basically useless for my work if I cannot run a macro as I recorded it.
  3. I have to agree with the OP and @otijhuis. This "by design" was a terrible idea. Photoshop had it right, whereby an adjustment layer affected everything below it. If you wanted the adjustment layer to only affect certain layers, you could "clip" it to a certain layer or group. In Affinity Photo, we are basically being forced to clip them things below them in the SAME GROUP, or to have everything ungrouped. Completely Exactly. @Dan C this needs to be solved - at least on the backlog.
