I originally publised the paperback to kdp using indesign and it looked fine in kindle preview and the paperback, proof i ordered. I have previously published to kdp using indesign as well as scrivener. I created a new file in Affinity then imported the manuscript from word. After making changes and formatting the document looks good in affinity. After export the pdf (for paperback) also looks good. After import to kdp the odd pages are missing when i preview the book. I read through all the tutorials for affinity and kdp then tried different exports. In each case the odd pages were missing after import to kdp. The affinity setting is spreads and it starts on an odd page. I'm at a loss on what I'm doing wrong.

I exported my book from Affinity Publisher to PDF and it looks fine. After import in KDP the odd pages are missing in every spread. I tried several exports (PDF/X-1a:2003 last) but it did not matter. any suggestions would be appreciated.
