Just following up on this conversation to say that the ability to do multi-page tables, and tables that break across pages, in Affinity Publisher would be most welcome.

I have an issue in Affinity Publisher 1.9.3 for MacOS wherein sometimes when I place a picture frame, it has rounded handles that allow me to resize, move, and work with the picture frame. Other times, whenever I try to place a picture frame or shape, it appears with Xs rather than rounded handles and while I can select it, I cannot move or resize it. I can't seem to find what selection or option is causing the difference.

I uploaded the file to Dropbox, but it is substantially changed from when I posted the problem. I worked-around it by cutting, pasting, and shifting text and then deleting pages at the end of the document, which wasn't an issue. So I don't know if this version that I have will show the issue. If need be, I might be able to dig up an older version from backups.

Apparently either adding or deleting a page before or after the pages in question cause the app to crash. I can delete pages or spreads from the end of the document, no problem. Affinity Publisher crashes instantly when I try to delete a blank page from a two-page spread in a document on MacOS Mojave (10.14.5) but I need to remove the extra page in order to finish my document. What can I try?

I'm a new Publisher user and I have encountered an issue where I try to delete a page from my layout and it immediately crashes the desktop app (MacOS, v. 1.8.3). This occurs regardless of how I select the "Delete" option (right-click or menu) or how many of which pages are involved.
