Converting the NEF files to DNG using the Adobe DNG Converter also fixes the problem. Colors seems to be slightly different and less saturated after conversion but as a plus it also seems to result in a smaller file.

Sorry, opened another topic for this as a mistake. Still not fixed in the latest builds. Can be reproduced using any NEF file from the Z series like any of the following images available here: https://www.dpreview.com/sample-galleries/8048435192/nikon-z6-sample-gallery/0151118616 Using the Apple (Core Image RAW) engine on the Mac does fix the issue. Sadly though I won't have access to a Mac later on so fixing this in he Windows version would be greatly appreciated.

Forgot to say that both the latest stable (1.8.6) and customer beta (RC2) version is affected. Used mac OS Catalina 10.15.7 for testing Mac stuff and Windows 10 with latest upgrades applied. The Mac was a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2019) i9, 32GB RAM. The Windows PC is an old i7-4770 with 8 GB and nVidia GTX 760.

It seems to me that this is an issue with the Serif Labs RAW Engine on both Windows and MacOS. Switching to Apple (Core Image RAW) does fix image loading.

I can confirm that I can't reproduce the crash with the file that you provided. As for my original file I can reliably reproduce it with the following steps: Click "Master Pages" Select "Master A" Click on the green rectangle on the top Change the color to anything you like Attempt to save, should produce a crash.

Submitted the file through that link. Should be very easy to reproduce, make any change, attempt to save, it should crash immediately.

Hi, Both the latest stable and beta (1.8.4.663) version produces a crash on save every single time. I can also provide the project files but would prefer to send it to the developers directly, instead of making it publicly available on the forum.
