I also have noticed this issue, but not only with Photo and Designer from the Appstore, but also with Publisher, which I have licensed directly in the Affinity Store. So the issue seems not to affect only the Appstore-versions.

Hi Bauke, for me pressing space, then cmd then left mouse button and moving the mouse to the left zooms out, moving the mouse to the right zooms in. So no need for the option-key. But you are right, I never tried to "click to zoom in and out", which should also work and needs the option-key. This gives the annoying sound. Edit: doesn't matter anymore, fixed with RC5 Johannes

for me the nik plugins are working. You have to reinstall them to use them. Somewhere in the forum there is a description of how to do it.

Anything new about this? Without at least this workaround (embedded native file) roundtripping from C1 won't make sense as long as one needs the files to be re- editable. For me this is the showstopper to consider to use Affinity Photo and to stick with PS6.

For roundtripping from RAW-converters (CaptureOne in my case) support for layered TIF-files is needed to keep your files re-editable. At the moment I have to flatten the file saving it and do not have any chance to make some more changes to the file afterwards. I've read somewhere that this has been planned to be implemented already in the beta, but never was. Cheers Johannes
