I suspect that Photos is not processing the RAW file, but is showing you an embedded JPG that may be contained in the RAW file. Lightroom may well have its own RAW processing, rather than depending on support from Apple as Affinity does.

Since Apple does not document that iOS supports that camera, and since Affinity relies on Apple's support, I doubt there is anything that Serif can do to help you.

As @Blende21 mentioned, Affinity Photo depends on Apple's RAW engine for camera support. And the proper Affinity FAQ article about would not be the one you mentioned, as that's for the desktop applications. For the iPad:

Note that the list is different for different iOS releases.

I am curious, though, whether I interpreted your message correctly. You seem to have said that the RAW images from your camera works well with your iPad? What application are you using on the iPad with that camera? I do not see the QX1 on Apple's list.

I've been using this camera well in the above applications, but only Affinity Photo doesn't work. I think the developer of this application should check the problem himself.

I bought this product to edit the raw file of QX1. But, QX1 raw image(.ARW) still has doesn't working with Affinity Photo for iPad.
At first, I thought it was just a bug, so I waited and wrote because it still doesn't work.
When I import the ARW file of QX1, pops up that the app does not support the format.
QX1's raw image is really working well with current iOS(iPad OS) version. Actually, it's been quite a long time since it worked. Working with default "photos", "Adobe Lightroom", etc.
So, my problem and question is "Why Sony ILCE-QX1's raw format(.ARW)?".
