just one example.
There are many apps, but a simple perspective crop tool should be implemented in Affinity apps, after raw developping and color corection has been done before perspective crop resampling.
-
A perspective crop tool like in Photopea or Photoshop would be great and very useful, because we have 2023 and most scans are done by smartphones and tablets these days.
-
Where is the perspective crop tool in Affinity Photo?

Serif, had anyone complained about the old iPad UI and requested this new UI?
-
Is there no quality control?
-
-
Looks so. It was foreseeable that the 40% will be extended. Perhaps even permanently. Usual marketing strategy.
-
Yes, but avoid opening your V1 files in V2, if you want to use them again in V1.
-
Please add golden ratio and fibonacci grids on iPad apps. Suggestion

Would it be possible to make the iPad menu bars transparent outside buttons/symbols like vectornator?
-
Please adjust the text size on the 3 dot ... dropdown menu in Affinity Designer for iPad. It is too small.

It is what it is. Let's focus on making V2 even better

You can perform the swipe-up deletion using the Pencil. It doesn't require a finger.
Yes I know, but without swipe on V1 it's faster.
-
There are users that prefer the pencil instead. So the remove of the delete and undo/redo buttons is a huge step back in usability. These should be optional again.

This is the feedback section, not the support section. No company can improve without criticism. It is about the promise of a paid V2 upgrade that has not been met. About trust and loyalty. And something big, besides a big cash flow. Serif doesn't need a base of yes men like you. Would an asymmetrical war against Affinity V2 by betrayed or disappointed customers be better on other platforms? Without the opportunity to respond and explain themselves? Gaining back trust is expensive.
-
Without the 40%, it's a bit overpriced. The price was chosen to be able to offer regular discounts. I am sure we will see a new offer soon, if the current one is not extended beyond the 14th. Everyone expected that V2 will be a paid upgrade, not a full paid new version.

Ash posted a response to the in app purchase critique
This does not convince me.

The simplest solution would have been to add an IN APP button for discounted purchase of the new features to V1. New customers would have been able to buy the apps at the new price. Just like others do, despite app stores. Instead of disappointing some loyal customers, or even making them enemies. Unwise marketing.

I very sincerely want to thank Affinity for keeping version 1 available, alive
Since 2022 it seems to be EU consumer law to keep alive digital goods and software for 2 years, after purchase.

Even on an older M1 with 8GB it runs very fast and smooth. What system you are using?

the pricing is at variance to the prices quoted in here
You have to know where an when to buy. Not from Adobe.
3 tool suggestions
in Feedback for the Affinity V2 Suite of Products
Posted
Suggestions on 3 tools that would bring a great advantage in creative possibilities and faster working without the need of using workarounds:
1. object/background cutting tool
2. vector eraser
3. real vector brush
Please as soon as possible, not in V3.
