Any ETA on non destructive free transform, perspective and warp tools like those found illustrator/Photoshop?

DWG/DXF  import/export please! This is still the most widely used (and will be for the next decade) exchange-format for us architects and our architectural representations (portfolios etc). With  this very overdue exchange-feature (I am still waiting since 2015...!) in Affinity I would be glad to get rid of Illustrator right away. And more important: I could simplify and speed up my whole workflow (back and forth).

I also work with lasercutting machines and need dxf or dwg files for them to work.
In my case, i draw with AD and then export to SVG, load that file to "inkscape" (thats for free) and then export to DXF.
The DXF files that Inkscape exports are very messed up, because the curves are split up in a lot of small lines.
So for that problem i have an amazing tool called "CNC Polyline Reducer", whitch makes radii out of the little lines.
It would be easier if i could handle this hole process with AD, but it works fine for me.

I wished it even would show that icon when selecting something and hovering over the rotation handle -- but it doesn't for me
What's more, when I rotate a group (containing a bitmap and lots of vectors) using "Transform" values, that group doesn't even rotate about its center

Yeah, the iPad AI seems to have better pattern functions than even desktop AI. The main problem with these Adobe iPad apps is that none of them, neither the legacy or the new ones, support CMYK. So... we're kind of stuck when it comes to print patterns on the iPad. This is an area where Affinity could do a quick 'land grab'.
Getting a proper vector pattern editor, both in Desktop and iPad, would help Designer's adoption a lot, I mean a lot, a lot. For example, I have a client that I could fully migrate to Designer if it had vector patterns editor. But without it, there's no way out of Illustrator for him, it's as simple as that.

I checked this, and there are actually two types of vector fills in PhotoLine: ones that work with a formula of sorts (the ones you tried) and custom ones made by converting a document to a pattern. The second type works well, as long as everything is aligned (turn on Pattern preview mode in the View menu)  and the pattern is defined via the document-->Color from document command. Not sure what the issue is with the first type. I did investigate, and the exported PDF did indeed show many small segments. But it printed okay for me.

+1 for DWG / DXF support
This is the ONLY reason that I am hanging on to DrawPlus
I import DXF into Draw + every single day.

    another request for dxf export.
I have a silhouette cameo machine that works best with dxf rather than svg files.
At the moment I'm considering moving over the the full affinity suite but can't without this feature - I'll need to keep illustrator for this

I work with Lasers and they use DXF files. I bought this program with the expectancy that it would handle these very useful file types. People have been asking Serif for 5 years now and nothing is being done to help a lot of interested people. Come on Serif team, sort this issue out and help a lot of people.

Yesterday I opened a PDF in Designer, noticed it was in RGB space, turned it CMYK, fiddled for a while trying to select rich blacks and turn them 100K. Gave up, left home. Today I opened it in Illustrator, replaced all rich blacks with 100K, saved and imported to layout in 5 minutes.

I really miss this feature but have adapted to creating global colour palates on starting a job, which would save loads of time if colours where global by default and maybe there was a little tick box to switch the feature off - I remember one time when I'd worked on a big NHS document in inDesign where I done maybe 400 line illustrations setup in lines, tints and shades of a pantone purple, all illustrated within inDesign, then the customer came in and said "I don't like purple" so got her to choose another colour, added the new colour to the palate then deleted the purple which flags the option to swap to another colour in your palate on delete -- 2 seconds later the whole document is sorted

    Hello !
I really appreciate using Affinity Photo for making illustrations, however there is something that ruins its potential when coloring a lineart. Every other pixel editing softwares I tried (Photoshop, Krita) allows the user to extend the fill selection in order to spill the color to the middle of the lineart pen strokes (for instance).

I've attached a sample of the fill results made in Photo and in Krita, along with Krita's fill settings. The color is a different layer below the lineart layer.
This pretty basic feature would increase a lot the speed of coloring simple flat drawings.
    Thank you in advance.
