I really want this ability to, it's not adopted in a lot of apps. but I have a chart that might help everyone see what is supported. but we really need to have some app on. the market other then adobe product support color SVG fonts. its throws off the market and also halters workflow and creativity. image all the good that could come from this, image all the companies and movements that could happen that use affinity nd not adobe. any action has more power then you think. please add this support!!!

I get his might not be top on your priority list but, I can confidently say there are a lot of ppl who would rather not sell there soul to adobe and use there software .. and you could benefit on that if you supported these kinda fonts since it would pull in more customers (just saying) but the potential creativity and project that will never happen because of the lack of this support which it can be that time consuming to add in the scheme of things. So please strongly hear this and add support for color SVG fonts.

Interesting, sadly unfortunate. so how do I get around this then? I have tried saving the same file into different file types and then opening in affinity but its never the same no matter what I save it too. So is my only option to manually rebuild the file and save it as affinity so it works. or is there an easier way to bring over the file intact the same way it is, even it it takes steps.?

Are you using the latest release version? Version 1.8.3 Can you reproduce it? Yes Does it happen for a new document? If not do you have a document you can share that shows the problem? Only tested imports of .ai / .eps / .psd files. If you cannot provide a sample document then please give an accurate description of the problem for example it should include most of the following: macOS 10.15.5 MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9 32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB Description of the issue. I’d say its easier to get the jist in my recordings, [1] The first issue Is, I will have 33 layers in one particular file (.ai) when in illustrator and when I open it in Affinity Designer then I will have over 100….and there not always in order either. This makes for a lot more work then I want to even get involved in, I don’t have time for that. [2] Also I have notice some weird events too where some layers will not import correctly and be this black/ dark grey square. I made sure to attached the source files and the recordings so you can do you best to figure out how to resolve this. I appreciate it and hope this helps! [3] Opening EPS files result in blurred pixelated images, not vector. (im guessing this has to to will certain things not carrying over from illustrator.. just a guess) OVERALL: Despite they tempting sale going on, I can’t possibly consider purchasing this software until it becomes more stable, then maybe I will consider it; since it will be nice to own standalone software and not rely on adobe apps!
