  1. Please refer to the attached screenshots I captured from a website. When I hover the mouse over one of the data points, the numbers in the little boxes show up. If I move the mouse to the next data point, the numbers in the little boxes change to reflect the data behind that data point. I want to make an image which combines multiple screenshots as if I shot a double exposure with a film camera so I can see the numbers in the little boxes from BOTH (ALL) the screenshots. I have screenshots for all the data points (so about 14 screenshots) that I want to combine. What I'm concerned about is that it seems the screenshots need to be transparent for this to work, but if that is the case then will the little boxes with the numbers also be transparent and disappear? Hopefully someone here knows how to do this. Thanks, Don
  2. You're a genius! Can you tell me the procedure for doing that? It seems that removing the two guys in the foreground in the other photo would be a little more challenging. Thanks, Don
  3. Here are pictures taken at my retirement party. In one photo, two guys are talking and there is a guy in the background eating pizza. How can I remove the guy eating pizza using Affinity Photo? I can crop out the other people in the background. I want to do a similar thing with the other photo, just leaving the guy in the foreground with the red shirt and blue vest. Thanks, Don
  4. Hi John, That worked perfectly to fill in the corners. Now I need to smooth out the saturation in the sky. I would like the whole sky to be about as dark as the darkest part. Can you help me with that? Thanks much, Don
  5. I just found the pictures from which I made the original panorama, not made with Affinity Photo and made a new one with Affinity Photo and attached the Affinity file here. I guess it will be easier for someone to show how to do what I want if starting from this file. Valley_of_Fire_Panorama_2012-11-25.afphoto
  6. I would like to do two things with the attached photo, which is a panorama I stitched together from several shots I made with my Nikon D50. 1. I would like to fill in the upper left and lower right corners that are white. 2. I had a polarizer on the lens which made the sky in the middle of the panorama darker than the left and right sections. I would like to smooth out the sky color and make it about as dark as the middle or maybe a little darker. Thanks, Don
  7. Walt, I tried BOTH eyedroppers you describe. I can get the sample color in the well but I still am not able to get the color to fill in the selection. The purpose of the selection, if I am not mistaken, is to allow me to color in that selection with one click, and not have to paint it in. Can you please describe, in detail how to fill in the selection with the color that is now in the well? Please read the notes I put in the attached screen shot. Thanks, Don
  8. I forgot to say I want to color the fixture in Affinity Photo to see how it would look as I want it to look like antique bronze. If and when I can get the color picker to work I will save the image and send it to our house painter to ask him for advice on my project. I would have him do it but he lives about 100 miles away from us and this project is too small for him to make trip.
  9. I want to paint the lighting fixture shown in the attached Affinity Photo file. I want to use the color shown in the "Color Picker Color.png" file. I followed a tutorial on the webs to learn how to select the brushed nickel frame of the light fixture (and saw the marching ants). To get the color I want into Affinity Photo I pasted the square into the picture (it is very small in the picture) am moved it up to the corner then clicked the color picker (eyedropper) icon and clicked on the square of color. The color does appear in the upper right at the top of the "Color" tab but I can't get that color to color in the selection. I CAN get all sorts of strange colors in the selection if I choose Hue or Recolor or HSL but I cannot seem to get the color of my sample to color in the selection. Please help, Don Change_color_of_lighting_fixture.afphoto
