Spinning beachball M1 Mac

Hi since swapping my MacBook Pro for a MacBook Air (M1 chip) Affinity Photo keeps giving me spinning beachballs on nearly everything I do. Is anyone else having this problem

Gradients not exporting from Designer in EPS
