  1. Thanks for your input! Cheers Mark just for ref...I was able to set up a custom preset for A3 and that printed correctly....LOL
  2. Hi Carl....yes thats correct....prints no problem from Photo but get cut off in designer...see attached image...please note i am using A4 paper just to show/test....my A3 paper is quite expensive....lost 5 sheets ...ouch! Thank you for taking a interest. cheers Mark
  3. Hi Carl....Just to add a bit more information this problem happen a little while ago when I attempted to print a "banksy" image for my office.... I managed to print the image using Affinity Photo....Also using Adobe Illustrator ... all very odd....money is on some thing I have done/iMac Canon printer combo.... thanks for taking time to have a look.. cheers m double cd concept.afdesign
  4. Hi Wonderings.... just to let you know I have printed from Affinity Photo...no problem....also from Pixelmater pro and (sash! Adobe Illustrator....) What I have exprienced so far is related to Designer....it started when i tried to print A5 size image and the app crashed....in the end i re installed the printer...no more crashes....things i want to print in A4 seem to be ok but for some reason none of the other size media sizes seem to work...it always prints as if its A4. One suggestion to delete the app...clear trash..restart the mac and clear out any presets so it was "factory' fresh....sadly no joy. thanks for taking the time to think about this Cheers Mark
  5. Thanks for suggestion....please see screen grab...that option is not there....I can/have printed the design/image from Affinity Photo... which shows no signs of this "oddity" Again thanks M
  6. Hi Wonderings...please see attached.... I had this issue a couple of weeks ago and I thought I got around it by making my own presets...A3 borderless, A3+ borderless... the test i did at the time seemed to work but today back to the drawing board (pun unintended) You can see on the attempted print how the image/design is cut off...it should go almost the full width...but cuts off as if its A4 paper. I hope the images help you see whats going but if you need to see something else let know. Cheers M
  7. Hi one and all....still having a problem printing from designer....iMac to canon Pro9000 mkII Regardless of what i select as print media size i.e. A3 cordless as example ...when I send it to print it comes out cut off...otherwords as if I was printing on A4 paper.....thought I had cracked it my making my own preset sizes (under custom size) but still the same...cuts off image/design as if it was A4 paper...brought the design/image into Photo....printed spot on. No problem. I have re downloaded designer again (third time) empty the trash , got the most update driver...please note i can print no problem from Illustrator, Pixelamater Pro...and as I said Affinity Photo. Any ideas....seems stuck with A4 print profile.... thanks mark
  8. UPDATE after re installing Affinity Designer plus the trial version still crashed when hitting the print option...checked on mac book no problem...so decided to try another "instance" of the printer...and it worked...test printed a few things including the design/size that crashed ..all printed. Something got corrupted and adding a new version of the printer (Canon Pro9000 mkII) it worked. If you get the same problem try adding a new version of your printer via system preferences (on Mac) before spending time rebooting/re downloading Affinity. M
