Hi all I am having a problem deleting a background for any photo is want. I make my selction but when I hit deleat it removes the whole layer not the background selected. Its driving me nuts. I have looked at youtub and I have followed the clips but I cant figure out whats wrong. It was so easy to fo it in photoshop, I have a feeling its just something I am missing or doing wrong. Below is the image I want to use. I want to cut the girl out but when I hit delete the layer goes. Any help most welcome. Thanks in advance. Mike

Hi all, I'm new to Affinity and from what I can see is Off set path and shape builder are the 2 biggest features missing. But overall I am very impressed with the softwear. I will not miss using Adobe one bit.
