Hi all, just upgraded to V2 and I have been messing around and in Photo when I use a brush and draw a line it seems to be out of focus and then goes in focus. I have tried other brushes and all seem the same. Maybe there is some setting I need to change, so any help would be great.
Looking forward to giving V2 a good blast.

I really want to upgrade to V2 but I'm pretty sure I can't upgrade to OS Catalina with my 2009 iMac. Can anybody please confirm that this is correct or is there any way V2 will run for me if I purchase it. Was just watching the overview videos on Youtube and the V2 looks amazing. Credit to Serif, they have created mazing software.

Old Bruce, its designer on Mac 10.12 on desktop. All vector artwork, two colurs, black and orange. Maybe its just a glitch because I never had an issue before with it. I selected one part of the orange and went select same fill and it did't select the rest. Nothing was grouped. I check both orange colours and they were the same cmyk make up.

I was designing a sign and when I went to select same fill it didn't work properly. It only selected some of the same colour. Noting was grouped with other colours so I dont understand. I checked that one colur throughout the sign and it was the same thats what I don't get.
Any suggestions.

Since reverting to 1.10.3 I don't seem to have any problem issues. Hopefully its just a small glitch but Im worried is an OS issue and I don't think my Mac wont run anything higher than Sierra.

Is it possible to revert back to AD version 1.10.3? I cant use AD at the moment and its costing me time and money. can someone please advise if possible as this update is terrible for me.

After restart it was working better but it keeps stalling and seems to freeze. So can save progress and have to force quite. Very frustrating.

Im just after doing a restart to see if it improves. I hadn't restarted since the upgrade earlier

It finally saved but the whole programme is gone very slow. Copy and paste is very slow. Beyond annoyed I updated.

Just updates to 1.10.4 and I am trying to save a project and it won' save. It just has the save bar up and nothing happening. The document is 165mb so not a massive file. I had no issues before this update so I'm pretty annoyed that I did it. So can anyone suggest a solution please.

Hi Dan, I have had a chance to try out the Beta and it seems to be performing better. Still a few lag issues but nowhere near as many. So where does this leave me now? Will there be a launch of this Beta version in the near future?

Hi Dan,
'Mouse mode' is the only option I have and its not checked. No 'Game Mode'.
The image is the version I am running.
I am downloading the beta version as we speak so I will let you know.

Hi Dan, thank you for your reply. Here is a screen shot of the affinity performance screen. I have the latest drivers from Huion installed, I even read somewhere to reinstall them again, so I have done this 3 time (no difference).
As far as document size it was A4, A5 or 200mm x 200mm (so not big files). Colour CMYK and various brush sizes. I also noticed it seems to get worse when I turn on the stabalizer feature. And like I said no issues when I use Krita so any help is very welcome.

Hi all, I recnrlty got a Huion HS611 pen tablet to try out and it has a very bad pen lagging issue. So bad its pretty much unusable. I have sent a video to Huion to try and get some help and I am awaiting a reply. So I decided to try the tablet with some other softwear so I downloaded Krita and to be honest it seems to be working fine. So has any one had the same issues and if so what fixed them? You can see from the clip how much of a lag there is.
I have to say I love AD, AP and Publisher, excellent programmes all, I really enjoy working on as a graphic designer but I was hoping to try and get more into the drawing side of things. So please any advice or help is most welcome.

I was wonder about this update, I am not very techy so if someone could advice me I would appreciate it. This is my mac specs, would it be ok or a mistake to run this new Affinity update? I dont want to cause problems for myself as everything is running fine. Appreciate any feedback.

Hi all, I want to make a start at using a pen tablet and I like the look of the Huion HS611. Can any one give me feeb back as to this tablets compatibility with the Affinity suite please.

Yes, any images placed from Unsplash will be introduced as (Image) layers and will need rasterising before you can use Pixel tools on them

Thanks for the quick replies people, much appreciated. I managed to sort it out. But one question if you if I use any photo from Unslpashed do is need to be rasterised? I have only been using Affinity a short time. I use designer much more than photo. I think I have a lot to look up to get the best out of all of the Affinity programmes, but I am delighted not to be and Adobe user anymore.
