  1. I would like to add a third request for object alignment that allows keeping one object in place while the other moves. I am also primarily a scientific user, and having this feature is a big time saver for producing publication quality figures.
  2. I've attached my best attempt at reproducing the problem. It seems to happen when there are several levels of groups. Here there is a group of two lines, and a group containing this group plus a circle. If you drill down and select just the group of lines and then hit align, they disappear and pretty soon the beach ball appears. Example.afdesign
  3. I downloaded the AD trial yesterday and immediately bought it. So refreshing to use. It could be because I don't know what I'm doing, but when I try to align a group of objects, I get the beach ball and have to force quite. This doesn't happen when aligning a single object, however. I'm using 1.2.1.
