here is a file of shapes that were snapped together with no STROKE. you can see white lines where the shapes connect. the lines show up on an exported pdf too LINES.afdesign lines.pdf

this is a huge issue for me too. another example : 2 shapes with no stroke next to each other have a space . putting a stroke on gets rid of it .
