  1. Aye...of course I go to record my screen and it magically works, thanks for all the input everyone. The only difference this time was I put the rectangle layer above the donut and then selected both, than Geometry > Add, and it worked. Hopefully this can help anyone else in the future if they have as much trouble as me lol.
  2. Yes, it turns in to a compound but the donut looks hungry As f*** still. heh. I might just go the lazy way, but I mean..shit this should be easy enough but it just isn't working. That method is last resort, thank you V_kyr
  3. I'm on windows, I tried both alt and ctrl. Both give the same result for some reason. This is driving me nuts.
  4. Creating a compound yields the same result. I selected both the line and donut, Ctrl+Add as well as just selecting one of the shapes and doing ctrl+add. I am not sure where I went wrong but I should of definitely been able to make this by now. I need to be able to resize it, so the two need to be 'snapped' together some how. (A Vector pretty much)
  5. Hello and thank you. This is what I get following your steps; How do I add more flava to the donut cause it looks malnourished. Thank you for the help, both of you. I appreciate it.
  6. Hello, I have been for the past few hours trying to combine the \ with the O and it just is not working. Similar to Illustrator where you would unite and pathfind the two, I can't figure out a way to do so in designer. All I want is a transparent prohibited symbol that I don't have to pay out my a$$ from shutterstock or pixabay, etc. I don't have much experience with any design as I bought the program and book recently.
