I was using a PC running windows xp Professional since it came out, but my fossil PC STOPPED OPENING. To make thing worse my loving family put me into Assisted Living to enable them to steal my home including tools for working wood and metal [one was a Bailey 5 velocipede lathe...do a search it's was a beautiful Pine green with cream pin stripes] My true dilemq is I BOUGHT A MAC 27" and photoshop is now leasing their products so l turned to Affinity, but since 2019 I have not gained an insite and by this have not made a single graphic. I would appreciate any help. I have purchased classes and the have not helped as l learned Photoshop from scratch exploring filter, the tool bar. The learning curve was staggering until l realized the key was to concentrate what l had learned NOT what there yet to learn.Within 90 days I was designing Utah High School State championship Programs that were comparable to sports illustrations cover designs except our digital press looked clearer than National Geographic. The company, NewslettersInk had the account until our business was "Pretty Womaned" by a Nebraska jerk which forced my retirement. He sold all the presses, shears, and computers to someone in Brazil. Later l learn3ed mt ex traded the company, the client list in exchange to the debt she had created $4,500.000.Than god l gave my shares to her when l found out she was spending lines of credit like there was no tomorrow. I worked every day on my own stuff and was happy as a lark until l lost everything. . .even my fossil PC and 4 Bookend Hard drives [my entire portfolio since 1996, the year l began. Hi Aeridis When importing Photoshop Brush ABR file collections, do you know a way converting PC Photoshop Suite 6 brush collections? The publishing company chose Windows so although having 25 years of experience, I was shocked at the extreme differential in the 2 formats. I just bought an iMac 27 and started the new Photoshop Subscription program, but did not recognize anything at all. l'm still struggling and dumped Photoshop as well, but I am utilizing my own brushes in catagorized collections. I use them when designing jewelry elements. I have yet to design a single piece on my Mac and still use my fossil 1996 built PC running Windows XP. I know, I have already bought flowers for the funeral, but making the switch is driving me Gelumpus. I would love any comments you all might suggest, other than filleting my wrists. Thanx in advance.
