  1. Well, as far as I can tell, it seems random as to which image is the "master." I have tried it the way you said and sometimes it works. It seems to work best if I open the "master" image last, but only if I stack 2 images. And even then it will sometimes align to the other image. Very frustrating. Not sure about the animate software. Looks like there's a lot of freeware out there that I will try. I just want to find a way to get well-aligned pics at this point. Mike
  2. I have been taking images of a building under construction with the plan of creating a timelapse movie. The photos are taken with my handheld phone so they need some alignment and was hoping to use Affinity to do that. Using the "New Stack" function with auto-align works great, however there are too many images to do them all at once. Unfortunately, when I do a second stack with a new set of photos, they do not align with the first set. I would like to be able to align each stack to a master photo so they all come out the same, but I haven't figured out a way to do this. It seems like the stack is auto-aligned to an average position or something. When creating a new stack, is there some way to set which image the rest are aligned to? Thanks, Mike
