  1. For the longest time I had decoration in a simple flat color for my text heading titles. Now I found a nice banner heading frame I would love to place behind these titles and center on the text. Is there any feature like that for text frames or would it only be possible with "text art" instead? I'm looking for the simplest way to do this. Thank you
  2. Alright so I just removed the windows update and it works fine now which is a relief. That said, I also just received the email about V2 for the affinity products which puzzle me a bit in a sense since they point out the end of support for V1. So if I understand correctly, the situation I am in right now is basically to either never update windows again or buy the V2 in the hopes of not having the same issue. I would not mind so much if it was only an upgrade fee but really V1 was doing the trick until this recent problem. Either don't patch windows or pay-up feels a bit upsetting to me right now :/
  3. Here is a file but it just did that recently, It seems removing the update did not fix it and even my backup from 1 year ago behave the same. It looks like it would be the most recent update of Publisher. Rust & Bones - work.afpub
  4. As title says. In my scene and even any of my backups, creating or deleting any anchor at all causes publisher to close entirely. I went as far back as i could and the only exception i see so far is when i had some scenes without any anchors previously before opening, then I can add and delete them how I please. However for any scene in progress with anchors, toying with them in any way seems to cause crashing
  5. Yes, this is what i was doing previously but what I would like to know is if it is possible to establish a default on opening the pdf to show in a "spread-like" view. It is possible to display as two page view, like in the picture below but I've noticed that this document for example, always open in this type of view. That said, is there a way to set this default view in a pdf export from publisher?
  6. It does show the layout i would be looking for but it bakes the pages together as one which is very bad for the page numbering. I'm looking for an option that would export every page but when you open up a pdf viewer, the defaut for this particular document would be "two page view". Right now, I simply have to do it manually which I don't necessarily mind but the users will have to do it themselves which is not ideal. It is possible, here is a few examples: Yes! Exactly what I was looking for, thanks a lot.
  7. I am looking for some options when exporting to pdf from Affinity Publisher. First there is the layout issue where I have a cover I want to display alone and the following pages to be in doubles. I can do that manually by selecting it in my pdf viewer but there does not seem to be a defaut option to open this way in the export options. Secondly, I would love for my cover to not be listed as page 1 but rather as page A or something similar. My table of content is otherwise referring to the written pages i created but the pdf itself is not showing the same number which is confusing to people reading the book. Lastly, Is there a way to edit the pdf properties beforehand? Namely the name, subject, keywords and description. It seems to only write whichever is the first line of text in the subject section which is odd to me. Thanks for your help!~
  8. Was there any update plan for that sort of feature? Was there any follow-ups?
  9. Same for me. I have a large document and now probably have in the hundreds of anchors that I would have to remove manually. I hope this is an issue that can be fixed somehow.
