That was it! Thanks! I was looking in all the wrong places, going through my preferences with a fine tooth comb.

I use Affinity on both Mac and PC and for some reason masks seem to work differently. When I add a new mask on Mac (with or without a selection) it creates the mask as a seperate new layer above the current selected layer, I then have to drag the mask down to the layer I'm working on to apply it. On PC it works like I'd expect and "attaches" to the layer I'm working on. Is this intentional, or is my install just cursed? Sorry if this has been covered, but i couldn't find any info on this.

These are all useful solutions/workarounds/features, and I appreciate the help. But I would still like to have a keyboard shortcut. It's just so much faster than clicking and dragging.

Having the same problem with a CanoScan LiDE 400. Images appear fine through other software but not when Acquire Image in Photo is used. I'm working on a Mac - macOS Monterey 12.0.1 (the image on the left is what affinity photo gets...)

I can't seem to find any of the frame properties options in the keyboard shortcut menus? I'm looking for the "Scale to max fit, Scale to min fit and the Size frame to content" as I want to bind them to a keyboard shortcut.
