Mike, why PDF saved in Illustrator opening in AD with normal text paragraphs (AD understand it), but PDF, saved in AD, opening in Illustrator as text with splitted rows. Can AD make imitation of the feature "Preserve editing capabilities" like in Adobe? When AD understand this option, than AD can reproduce it?

Following this topic: It would be good to have "Preserve Editing Capabilities" for text blocks like Adobe Illustrator for PDF exporting. Because now text frames splitting to frames for every row and the document becomes inaccessible for normal editing in the other editor.

I want have normal export option from AD (not opening). But pdf exporting do not giving it..

But when pdf file created in Adobe Illustrator and after opened in AD - texts do not splitting by rows to every new object.

I found problem in Affinity Designer. I was created a text block with multiple rows. But after exporting it to pdf file and opening in Adobe Illustrator I see divided blocks of texts for every new row. AD do not saving every text block as single object with multiple rows and paragraphs. And second problem - AD do not care about layers and groups sctrucrure of current document in exported pdf file.

On OS X 10.8.5 does not work: File -> New menu item (Doing nothing) Tools panel is empty Toolbar Panel empty after trying to customize

In the latest AD 1.6 Beta 8 class kerning doesn't work with this font too.

DiariaSansPro-Regular have combined simple pairs kerning of symbols and group class kerning rules. On my AD simple rules is working fine, but class features does not work.

But on my computer nothing happens after changing Character Kerning between 0 and Auto parameter for this font. And Kerning doesnt work only for this font. It is my bug for 1.5.5 version or something other?

In the first font kerning features added like: feature kern { # Kerning # DEFAULT lookup kern0 { pos quotedbl comma -100; pos quotedbl hyphen -50; pos quotedbl period -100; pos quotedbl A -70; pos quotedbl J -100; pos quotedbl a -40; For this font Open Type features is available on AD and kerning working fine. But for second professional font with settings like: feature kern { # Kerning # DEFAULT lookup kern0 { pos fraction hyphen.dnom -250; pos fraction plus.dnom -250; pos fraction plusminus.dnom -250; pos @_A @_C1 -23; pos @_A @_Dcroat -43; pos @_A @_T -69; pos @_A @_C.smcp1 -20; pos @_A @_U.smcp -10; pos @_A @_V.smcp -40; pos @_A @_f1 -15; pos @_A @_onesuperior -70; For this font Typography Panel is empty and kerning do not applying. Differences? In the secondary font kerning based on classes (groups of characters). And it seems that AD does not support it.

Expand Stroke feature do not working for multiple selected elements inside groups. I must select every element, ungroup and expand it separately :(

Sorry. In 1.5.4 it is fixed (1.5.1 has this bug). I have only problem with artboards names (in attachment).

Previous version have the same bug. Working only 1.3.x-1.4.x versions.

After clicking to Export persona toolbar and right sidebar disappears. After returning to Draw persona toolbar and sidebar do not restoring.

My system is 10.7.5. And new versions of Affinity Designer do not working for me. Can I install old version of AD? Where I can download it?

For me this is the most expected feature. I'm sad that it was not implemented in 1.5 beta :)

Increasing of Stroke width limited by strange invisible mask. How to avoid it?
