  1. Thank you again Walt, That is brilliant. Absolute Problem solver. Much appreciated Many thanks. kirk
  2. I have just downloaded the grade UI Kit and as part of that they have mock up pages with web elements such as blog sections etc. I would be great is these could be part to the assets to easily drag on to the page. Even a web wireframe assets could be useful for all projects. Keep up the great work.
  3. Thank you v_kyr for the links and the added assets. Very much appreciated. many thanks, Kirk
  4. Thank you walt.farrell, Found them as per your instructions. Many thanks for your time. Much appreciated. Kirk
  5. Hi Ron P, Thank you for the response. I found the answer it was the grade UI kit which as pointed out to me is in the downloads of my account. It consists of web items such as buttons and switches but also has web elements such a blog and post layouts. I have now downloaded it and it is all great. Thank you for your time. Many thanks< Kirk Thank you for your time Gary P, I have now found them in my account downloads and have managed to import assets, palettes and well as loaded in the blog items into a document. So all good. Many thanks, Kirk
  6. I have a web project and remembered that affinity designer had a web ui called grade ui. I had some loaded in AD but deleted to download again to get the other options. I did try and download all from my account in the app. I also ticked in my preference for all compatible downloads but the grade UI does not download. It is a real shame as I love the affinity apps and have them all. Being able to quickly wireframe without investing in sketch etc is really good to speed up the process of an idea. Can anyone advise. Thank you in advance.
  7. Hi Gabe, I also just thought that it would be constrained to one side as that would make sense. But I also realise the names are long. The good news is that at least when it has been sorted I know how to access the dialogue box. The hyperlink was an after thought because I was unable to auto create the TOC easily so created one of my own and then used the hyperlink feature as a work around. There is a probably a way to have made it work but all the tutorials I found stopped too short of information that I needed. (With heading 1 and Heading 2 text styles examples - I needed Main Sections/Subsections and Content of Subsection ( Pages) Probably my fault as looked at is once I had already created the document rather than planning to make it work with the TOC conditions. The TOC was a real pain as I was relying on this to keep things flexible rather than having to create my own TOC hard copy and then use the hyperlink function. Luckily I do not create a lot of these docs so can live with it for now. Happy to attach actual file if it may help explain. Thank you once again for the response. Have a brilliant week.
  8. No problem Walt, I understand the issue. I will keep in mind for the next time until the fix. Thank you anyway.
  9. Hi Walt, Thank you for the update on the bug. The challenge I have is that that folder icon still opens up the change name option even though it look looks as if it is overlapping the link name it still does not open the option links dialogue box. in other words with the present long link names I am unable to click the click or even double click the item. I have done a screen grab that should explain things better. Thank you for the response. Screen Shot 2020-06-05 at 16.53.16.pdf
  10. Hi Gabe, Thank you for responding so quickly. That is interesting I did see the file but as the link names are long the file symbol seems to hover over the name rather than staying separate from the name on the right handside. That means if you try to click the file icon you just get the renaming feature and not the options I was lookig for to change. I suppose I could limit name size to ensure the file icon is separate but then I need to keep track of what the link refers to. Perhaps it will be sorted out on the next update. Thank you once again. Kindest regards, Kirk
  11. I have used the hyperlink panel to link pages. Apart from it being very slooow there are issues on the panel usage. (MAC OS) I watch the tutorial and is states that you can double click the hyperlinks in the panel to make adjustments. When I double click it opens up the text box to enable you to change link name but not the ability to look at the settings to change the page to be linked to and other settings. Probably wait until there is an update before using again. (Adobe would be quicker to add links)
  12. Thank you for all the tutorials. I am new to affinity publisher having used indesign in the past (Stopped at version CS6 as did not want to go on subscription as I do not do much doc publications) I have been struggling with the TOC despite looking at all the tutorials both official and others. They all seem to cover the H1 and H2 examples which is straight forward when the document has been set up that way. I wanted to have section headings with subsection headings and content heading title for the TOC. I set up Text Styles for the section the Headings. I looked at the section tutorials and to put the section information on the page along with the page numbers but could not see how I could have the sections on the actual TOC. In the end I did it manually utilising the tutorial on Text Frame Rulers and tabs. Could you do a tutorial that covers all these functions on the TOC as they seem glossed over or missed out so far. This way we could have the full understanding of this feature. I appreciate all the hard work and look forward to the next update. Thanking you for your assistance. Kirk
