ik ben ergens reacted to walt.farrell in using enter gets me a new paragraph instead of a new line.
Enter correctly gives you a paragraph break. Shift+Enter will give you a Line Break. Or you could insert one from the menu, Text > Insert > Breaks > Line Break.
If you're using line breaks you will probably want to set Text > Show Special Characters, too. Otherwise the breaks will probably cause you some confusion eventually

did you tried "Shift-Enter" too?
