  1. Linux has Chrome (and all Chromium-based derivatives like Edge, Vivaldi, Brave), Firefox and some Webkit-based browsers (Safari's engine). Figma was eating both Adobe and Serif's lunches. Now it only eats Serif's lunch. The advantages of sharing and co-editing documents in the cloud in a web-based tool is where growth is. A transition is going on.
  2. I would buy it all again in a heartbeat if it was made for Linux, but to be honest I'd prefer they ported it to Electron as a proof of concept and then hosted it on the cloud like Figma did before it was gobbled up by Adobe for 20 Billion. The writing is on the wall for desktop apps developed for a particular OS. Affinity Designer could become the #1 competitor to Figma overnight if was a cloud/browser-based product. We don't need this to be ported to Linux if it runs in a Web browser.
  3. Oh Weird. I saw a YouTube video that claimed that dragging and dropping multiple files only worked with raster images, so I just assumed it to be true. It must have been talking about an older version. Thanks for the info! Alex
  4. p.p.s. I bought all 3 in the space of 48h after having found Designer great, then tried Publisher and it really clicked with me. At that point I just decided to close the loop with Photo even though I'm doing fine with Gimp or Krita on that front. I love the small personal complementary application each product has. I love it so far and it will probably end up being my main tool for anything vector. Great job to the devs.
  5. Hi, It would be nice to be able to bulk import vector assets like SVG files by dragging and dropping many of them in the Assets panel from a file manager window. Or at least be able to use the import dialog from the panel's menu for vectors, just like we can already do with raster images. It seems like a glaring omission that we can only do it with one type of files. Oddly enough I did a search on this forum for "Bulk vector assets import" and could not find a previous discussion on the subject. p.s. I'm aware that we can import vectors one by one, but it's a tedious process when you want to add hundreds of files. Alex
