I have reinstalled again and now works most of the time and I have tried rasterising the image first as suggested in other post as that seems to help. many thanks,

I don’t think this will be fixed anytime soon, maybe the next update if at all because I don’t think this problem is common to all iPad Air 3 users, I hope I am wrong but we could have a long wait for this to be fixed.

I have a 2019 iPad Air 3 and I have just started using Affinity Photo. I have been trying to make a mask selection, after I have refined the selection and use the apply button the app crashes. On reopening the project I am back to the pre-refine stage and can’t get beyond this point. I have over 16gb of unused memory left but it seems to me the problem is due to some kind of memory management problem with in the app as I have no other apparent problems with my iPad. Any ideas how to resolve problem. Thank you in advance.

I have the same problem with my 2019 IPad Air with 16gb of spare disk space app crashes every time I hit the apply button. All latest updates applied and app deleted and re-installed to no avail. Very very frustrating as I upgraded to new iPad and pencil so could use this app.
