  1. Thadeutz, excuse me, I would like to ask one more question. How do you create 'your-artwork' (eingebetets Dokument) in Designer? Quite often I do some previsualizing using mockups created with symbols in AF Designer. In my stair issue I tried to put the white rectangle in 'my-artwork' (symbols) made in AF Designer and when I duplicate it, it duplicates the same art, obviously?! In your case it changes the color etc. What did I do wrong? Thanks a lot. Regards, Kruna
  2. Thadeutz, thank you very much too!!! I will definetly give it a try too! It looks so easy, but Im struggeling around! Well, learning by doing! Btw, actually you dont have to be sorry for the german UI, quite the contrary I am glad about, because mine is german too. Somit kann ich die einzelnen Schritte besser nachvollziehen. Vielen tausend Dank für die Bemühungen, mir zu helfen. Gruß Kruna
  3. Hello GarryP, thank you very much! Wow, that looks great!! I tried it out, but still dont get the mask step done! I will have to keep on trying. Another thing I noticed is when it comes up to letters (like in the third image). I used your document, the letters also stay in perspective, but they shouldnt or should they? branding-stairs-1.afphoto In the third image they kind of 'go with the stairs' vertically. What do I miss? Thank you.
  4. Hello thadeusz, yes you are totally right, I meant previsualizing and it wont be printed at all. Well, I really do apologize, but my knowledge in Affinity is close to zero. I would need a step-by-step-instruction in order to understand what you mean (also partly because I am not a native speaker). I know that this is too much asked so pls dont get me wrong therefore. I accept and respect, if you dont have time or muse to do so. I dont know how to - place a mask, refine mask and position and how can I change my artwork in the placed Affinity file? Once again, please excuse me for maybe asking the obviuos. Thanks in advanced. Regards Kruna
  5. Hello everybody, I would like to brand stairs with different graphics, eg. like here: I tried already with the mesh warp tool, as I asked similar topic some time ago here in the forum, but no way to achieve this at all. Even more the stairs are not covered completely, but only the parts where you do not step on. On the other hand there may seem to be kind of mockup like here: Is anybody having an idea to please help me out? I would be happy about any little hint or help to achieve this. Millions of thanks in advanced!! Regards Kruna
  6. In my example it is supposed to be over the glass respectively except the part which is 'cut out'. In your example it is not supposed to be over the glass, right? As the glass part is 'cut out' completely. Sorry for the overly complex, but Iam still at the beginning and learning Affinity I dont know how to do better.🤓
  7. Hi telemax, here is my new bus, but it is too dark and the design is all just blasck and white, even though I used the same settings and I am sure I did something wrong. Hi firstdefence, ty for helping too. How does it work using a clipping mask? I tried to accomplish this way too, but of course mine looks different too. Thank you guys!! just_another_bus.afphoto
  8. Hello telemax, Well the second tutorial is awesome!! Unfortunately I dont have any clue how I could apply this on my bus!🤪 He explained very well what he did, but not how, at least for me as a completely beginner (also PS) I dindt understand much of it. Anyway I liked it a lot to while watching, great piece of artwork! Ty Back to my bus, I wouldnt know how to do that. Please excuse me for maybe asking the obvious! I feel so dumb as you provided already a bunch of explanations and examples. I should be able to handle it. So I will keep on trying untill I get it done. Thanks again so much for all your time and help!
  9. ok, but (please apologize if I keep asking) the two window parts are not white as they should be. It doesnt look as realistic as in back of the bus from the other foto (Iam still stunning!!!). I keep trying and trying, but somehow I dont achieve it due to lack of knowledge. Also I cant find any aproach to resolve my issue. I dont know where to search for and look at. How did you learn it? Was there any tutorial or else? I took the layer groups 'refelctions, shadows/details and lightness from the first bus and copy/pasted them into this one. Trying to adjust to make it look realistic as it is there, but no way to get it done.
  10. ok, NOW I understand, thank you so much!!!! Or better asked (just to be sure) the same way as I add grey background, the same way I need to add lets say shadows and lights and reflections, right?
  11. Hi telemax, its me again and again with some help needed, please. With your help I am pretty fit with mockups the way you showed me with symbols. Its pretty awesome and helped me a lot to save a lot of time working with this kind of mockup. Now I face another challenge. I simply dont get the shadows, light and reflections done. I used the same (at least I tried) as you showed in the other bus sample, by copying and pasting, then trying to adjust here and there a little bit, but no way I get anything showed up! What do I do wrong? What am I missing? Here is the example file and it would be great, if you could take a look at it and I hope it is not too much asked, if you could explain, where I do have to keep an eye on or what do I need to consider. As always I was looking for some tutorials and googleing around, but cant find any apropriate solution. Tahnks a lot in advanced!! regards kruna just_another_bus.afphoto
  12. Ah, ok. Sorry, then I misunderstood. But thank you very much once again for the video. It is really very helpful. Regards Kruna
  13. Wow, thank you!! Thats great help! I will practice on that. Excuse me, if I ask you, but would you mind to show the better way? I dont know if its asked too much as I have no idea concerning time and effort, so I wouldnt like to overstrain.
  14. Well I found a lot of tutorials, but not how to change from black (as black actually isnt a colour) to color objects.
