  1. Well, I don't know why, but Affinity Photo just did the update on its own. Sorry I cannot provide a solution to others besides keep trying -- I guess it is what it is.

  3. Yes, TomM1 is describing the problem. For me, it appears and tries, but fails to update in MacOS Big Sur 11.2
  4. I am trying to update my Affinity apps. I bought publisher directly through Serif and that worked fine. On the other hand, I purchased Photo and Designer through the Apple AppStore. It took several tries to successfully update Designer, but Photo will not update. It downloads the installer, then throws of a error message saying "Cannot download Affinity Photo at this time. Please try again later." I have tried removing the app and doing a fresh install, same thing. Any guidance? I have already tried to contact Apple but have not gotten a response. Thanks
  5. I have this issue chronically with both Photo and Designer and I have updated to Mac OS 10.15.4. Usually there is a recovery file, but I have to force quit after trying to save (and even occasionally opening). As far as I can tell, Affinity products have always had issues with the file system. I do love the tools and would love to be free of Adobe, but this instability is a pretty huge issue.
