Doesn't seem that hard of a thing to be implemented and I use it quite a lot in inDesign, most of the times because I like to be able to look at the finished version of a certain page or layout as I'm developing the project without needing to export every time I want to do it.

Honestly just posting to keep a thread at the top of the listing is a little like spamming the forum. It does not add anything to the discussion and if everyone would do this with their pet features the forum would eventually become unusable.
The moderators have explained many times that they take note of all the requests. '+1'ing does not influence their priorities.
Please take my post and opinion just as a friendly reminder to think about this.

An important feature indeed!

I stand for a book/chapter management system. We do team editing of catalogs and to have page numbers and styles coordinated on multiple documents for each catalog product family is key for any team workflow.

A great feature to be added for sure!

Would it be an option, to give Publisher a presentation mode, showing the pages / spreads in a window, with a right click jumping to the next page?
That would make my normal presentation workflow a lot smoother, without you having to add actual Powerpoint like features.
It would also allow me to share my work more easily in remote sessions, since I could simply share the window with Publisher in presentation mode, and guide my customer through it.

you won't get any information about when this feature will be included (or even if). This is not the current policy of Serif. You can check the list of features of the current beta version. This is the only place where you find information on what is going to be included in the next release.

But it is a little tricky because a new feature may be listed in one beta version as new but maybe in the following not any more. But usually new features also are discussed in the above linked forum and something like a book feature would pop up there with several topics 😉

Feel free to check the Feature Requests to see if someone has already asked for it, and to concur if so. Or, you can post your own.

I doubt that this is actually implemented in an equally manner.

As far as I know that function does not exist in Publisher.
