With all due respect, but your position and arguments are ridiculous. Every software upgrade offered by a commercial company comes with a price. You can now purchase the app(s) at a 40% discount and that's quite generous.

Your wrong. I have a professional Digital Audio Workstation. I paid once, I get Life Time Updates Free!

    Hi crayons,

Can't say i've seen that happen before.  It's almost like Outline view is enabled but that doesn't explain why no layer is present.  Do you have the afdesign file you could attach?  Also are you able to replicate it the issue in a new file?

Hello @stokerg, This is the second time this happened. No, I do not have the file. All I can say is that I had had this file open for a long time this morning. I have changed the grid many, many times. I have added and deleted a lot of objects (100's) while this file was open. Sometimes out of the blue, the keyboard shortcuts would stop working, then I select the Designer window, and the top bar turns white and says Affinity Designer Not responding.

The PC I am using was given to me.
    Windows 10 V. 10.0.19041 build 19041 - Inteli-5 2500k 3.30GHz - 8Gb memory - Nvidia Geforce GTX 560 Ti.

  3. This is getting to be a regular event. Nothing outrageous about this file I was working on it was just eight circles and a square.

  4. @Callum Here we go again.... Reading through the pumpkin tutorial listed in the forum, I made it to create ellipse converted it to a curve and again I can not select any other tools. Why does this keep happening? UGH!

    Hi @crayons,
I advised to set the document to pixels temporarily to check this. If you are still checking the document with the units set to inches when you set the zoom to 100% then you will still see the lines. If that's the case changing to pixels and checking at 100%zoom (or 200% etc) should fix the issue or as @anon2 suggested above go to menu View > Zoom > Pixel Size if you still have the document set to inches. Can you confirm that was the case please?

Okay thank you for your time, Be Safe and Have a Great Day, Bye for now.
