Here's a list of some of the bugs which have been fixed in the RC build 2.1.1.1847 
Please reply in this forum only to comment on any fixes which are in this list (in particular to let us know if you notice that something we say is fixed isn't!) Thanks for you patience in waiting for a reply, and sorry it has taken so long. I was waiting for us to be ready with some actual proof of our process (see beta forums) 
The 2.2.0 beta cycle will add new features yes. 2.1.0 beta was run quite strictly, in terms of only actually releasing to customers when we thought most of the significant reported regressions over the previous version (2.0.5) were addressed. Bugs reported since we released 2.1.0 are considered for inclusion in 2.1.x or 2.2.0. As a result of this process we have now fixed the reported regression deemed safe to address without a long beta cycle in 2.1.1. That beta will be made public if nothing new is found. We are then likely to move onto 2.2.0 beta but will consider any regressions reported against 2.1.1 for a patch 2.1.2 (if needed) 
Long standing bugs are therefore far more likely to be addressed in 2.2.0 than in 2.1.x because we are only really fixing regressions over the earlier release in 2.1.x now

Following the release of version 2.1.0 of the Affinity suite, we have fixed a number of problems that were discovered after it's release. A full list of the fixes are found in this post and we would appreciate you installing this beta build and confirming that this version works as well for you as 2.1.0 but with those issues addressed. 
We are hoping that no newly introduced bugs are discovered in this 2.1.1 beta and if nothing significant is discovered we are likely to do a full release of 2.1.1 to all customers very soon. Please report any problems you find in this Beta bugs forum

It's logged as a bug, and will be fixed in 2.1.1 (or the 2.1.1 beta) when released.

It's nice that Affinity suite receives new features, but at the same the are many bugs that ruin the experience of using these apps. It was really frustrating when the v2.1 version came out and had loads of new features, but at the same time hardly any bug, I had encountered so far, got fixed. Many of them are still present despite having been reported by other users many, many months ago. I think that all Affinity apps would become much more enjoyable to work with if developers focused more on fixing and polishing existing features before making new ones. I stumble upon various bugs in Affinity software on daily basis and they significantly impact my productivity. My suggestion is to include less new features and more bug fixes in future updates.

Are previous beta 2.1.0.x beta participants expected to re-enroll in this 2.1.1.x program?
 
Edit: 2.1.0.1799 did not prompt for update to 2.1.1.1847 until I checked for updates.

Well, that's answers that question. That was only question at this point. My other apps (Photo& Publisher) prompted. Thanks Walt. Best
 

Do you usually run the beta, or the release version?
The automatic check happens only once per day. Thus, if you already had the .1799 beta running in the 24-hour period when the .1847 beta became available, it might have already checked and found nothing.

What about cross references? Are they in this Beta?

Ah, sorry you are likely not missing a trick that is probably true, but we have checked the release build internally and it seems fine. The release is planned for next week
