  1. Thanks Rick, this was also reported against beta 82 beta thread and is already in the database
  2. PMPN, Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums. Not directly using an existing artistic style filter
  3. Roshan, Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums. Apple sometimes has to pay local taxes that can apply to App store purchases, I expect that is what has happened. Did you get to the bottom of this?
  4. You are very welcome. If you have bought the software (and not just got the trial) you can try the lighter UI in the customer beta version, downloadable from the pinned post at the top of the relevant beta forum. The beta install works in parallel to the purchased version.
  5. Joseph, Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. The purchase version is only available with look that you describe of white text on a darker background. We are soon going to be releasing version 1.6 as a free update, and one of the new features is an alternative lighter ui option. However you cannot choose arbitrary colours even in 1.6 and there are no plans to implement that.
  6. Adiemask Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. The RAW file support on the iPad is provided by the operating system. This post links to Apples posts on this, which may change with time, particularly in the latest iOS 11
  7. Richard, Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. Thanks for your contribution. I moved your other bleed related post to the feature request forum, although frankly you aren't alone and lots of the posts in this thread are talking about what the software doesn't yet do (rather than being a discussion on how this build is functioning, which is more the purpose of a beta thread )
  8. conversation has now moved to here https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/47643-affinity-photo-mac-app-update/
  9. Siimba55/Richard, I moved your latest post from that announcement thread where it did not belong. You have posted on these forums about this or similar problems over and over again https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/47551-macbookpro-affinity-photo-no-go/&do=findComment&comment=238167 https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/profile/64-adam/&status=8529 https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/47454-to-buy-affinity/&do=findComment&comment=238095 https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/6-introduce-yourself/&do=findComment&comment=237640 https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/33684-purchasing-affinity/&do=findComment&comment=164344 You have also emailed us 8 or 9 times (you would do well to learn to use "reply" rather than start a new email each time you have something to say, it makes support easier if the existing conversation is included). It is becoming clear to me that you are refusing to listen to any advice that we give, that Serif do not have ANY control over the Apple Mac App Store and your particular problem with your account and AppleID. Indeed it is starting to feel a lot like trolling now. Asking any more times the same thing about this is not going to change our answer and no one here can help. Go back over any of the many emails we have sent or threads you have created, then you will see that in our opinion you need help.... from Apple, not us. If you keep posting the same or similar questions here your posts will just be merged into one thread to keep them all together and if that does not stop it then your account will be deleted.
  10. Elton, Welcome to the Serif Affinity forum. Thank you for posting your suggestion on the forums as we suggested. This request was also passed on to the development department by email.
  11. That is not surprising, as Warp is a draw time thing and is only going to improve the drawtime performance when retouching for example as I said earlier. The focus merge process is basically unaffected.. and would require recoding, as I said earlier. I suggested the 1.6 beta version for helping with the focus merging speed, because work has been done on that part of the code since the trial was compiled.... I can only suggest that you wait till we release 1.6 and come back (in a couple of months) to redownload the replacement v1.6 trail and try that for your specific case. I think you have wasted enough time on this already
  12. Well then try the software rendering as I suggested please. (p.s. As none of your previous 12 posts had mentioned the trial, there is no "of course" about it)
  13. Well clearly it didn't, we still had staff here responding to tickets and forum posts and your ticket created by this forum post was unfortunately never auto assigned to someone who was here. This was our process failure that I am sorry for, but most customers were answered during this time. I have only found 5 tickets outstanding from Saturday onwards, of the 634 tickets created. So you were unlucky to have been one of the overlooked ones in this case. Now, as I understand that your experience is the only one that should matter to you, that is really still not good enough, sorry again, but be aware this is not the experience of everyone during this time,
  14. Click here to download the latest Windows Photo beta As normally found in a post that is pinned at the top of the Photo Beta on Windows forum
  15. GracieAllen, Sorry you have not got an answer before now. My team have been 4 staff down due to a bug virus. Your focus merging issues will require some re-writing to improve. In this respect have you tried the latest beta, as 1.5 will not be patched again once 1.6 is released? Regarding retouching, we are aware of some performance issues on Windows that show up on better hardware, but not found a precise recipe. Would you please try changing the rendering for me from hardware to software. In "Edit" > "Preferences" > "Performance" change 'Renderer' to 'Warp' (which is software). Then either restart of simply do "View" > "New View" and compare the 2 views at the same time. Patrick Connor Head of Tech support and QA
  16. m0p0, Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums I have updated the first line of this pinned post to reflect the answer to your common question, sorry it was not more obvious before. We sell a Windows license independently of the Mac OS license and of the iOS license. If you want to use both on Windows and Mac then you will need to buy both. P.S. the tagging system on these forums works quite well. Clicking on the licensing tag on your post actually brings up many similar questions.
  17. Gustavo, Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. Some interesting concepts, but you really need to use a English spell checker as the errors overshadow your ideas. laucnhed approching ideias & ideia highliths everyday (every day) realeases through out (throughout) firts documentarys straigth embrancing
  18. Brian, Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. Thanks you for checking the betas as much as you have, it is appreciated. In answer to your question there is no satisfactory interchange mechanism. However we may be only a few weeks away from releasing 1.6 when your clients will catch up (until we start a 1,7 beta !) Keeping your public facing work restricted to the release version is important, as we don't necessarily promise that beta saved files will be supported (though they normally are). You are potentially risking losing your data by relying on the beta for your own files, so please use the beta versions with caution.
  19. Perhaps sadly so, but being a small company we are developing at a rate that we can support going forward. Over expansion is also dangerous. We aren't saying never, just when we are ready.
  20. Phast696, Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. No, tables are a feature that we plan to implement in Affinity Publisher, which is not yet available.
  21. We currently only sell the Mac version through the Apple App store. For corporate reasons we may change that at some point, but not any time soon. This is 100% an Apple App store issue. We cannot help you and no amount of repeating yourself is going to sort this . Serif have no control over the Mac App Store and your problem is certainly unusual or someone would have given you some advice that worked by now.
  22. Please stick to one thread https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/47643-affinity-photo-mac-app-update/ Where you keep saying you are giving up, and then come back saying you are still trying.
