      Not 100% sure, this is the first time I have typed in one would you believe. They are off by default nowadays, as this sort of public messaging seemed to cause no end of confusion and annoyance to forum regulars being bugged for help by newbies.

  2. Hello Everyone! Firstly thanks for the great software with unbeatable price. However, as an Indian user, we need Indian language fonts to support, I had been using "designer" for years, lately purchased, "Publisher" as well, but in both case, Indian Language, namely, Tamil or Kannada, fonts issue. When I placed the Kannada font text, it asked me to download, "Kaiti" Font and irrespective of downloading it, the issue is intact. (Ref. Screenshot attached) Please give us some alternative solution until you fix it permanently. Thank you!

  5. I just bought the new 12.9" Apple iPad Pro/Pencil Combo. My old system would have an immediate response from the vector brush, but this lags and takes forever to show the work in Affinity Designer. PROBLEM 1.   AD keeps crashing randomly, frequently. It's like a completely different AD on this system. All of my other apps seem to be loading and working fine. I have the latest update for iOS.  Can anyone help me figure out why AD is being so picky about this new device? It's twice the size of the old iPad; it should be lightning fast. HELP! Please. I don't know how to attach a video and I never know when it's going to happen (the crashing part). The lagging part is continuous.

  6. I inadvertently erased my Affinity Photo application when I used Recovery Mode on my iMac. When trying to log in to my account at affinity.serif.com it does not recognize my email address probably because I originally logged in with just my username and password. What must I do to redownload my purchased application?

      Finally if you bought it from the Mac App Store, we do not have an account for you. Simply log on to the Mac App Store and reinstall from there. Serif have no record for sales made through the Apple owned store.

      please create a support ticket affinity@serif.com with your full name and the order number or email address you used when you placed the order. Only if they can trace your account will they be able to help

  9. Hello, I am starting with Affinity publisher en designer.

    For a document I would like to adjust a text to fit a length. I found the kerning function, but it works only between two characters.

    Is there a function to change the word-space without changing the space between letters ?

  11. Affinity Photo 1.6.5.123 consumes the full capacity of the Intel I7 CPU 4/8 CORE CPU 860 / 2.8 GHz. Is this processor obsolete to run this software properly. response times are excessively long from 30 seconds to 2 minutes and more for each action

    I am using the latest beta 1.7.128

    "Print" still will not display or print a document  unless I change "Fit type" to "Scale to printable" i.e. the same problem as on the previous beta

  17. I' bought Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer at the apple store, Photo gets all updates but designer does' nt.

      Mondad, this is a status area (to post how you are feeling?), and not a good way to communicate with staff or ask for help. Please post any questions in the forums instead.

      Currently this post shows the latest versions on the Mac App Store. which are ADe 1.6.1 and APh 1.6.7 the article explains why some platforms have higher numbers. If you have 1.6.1 ADe and 1.6.7APh then you have the latest. If not post in this questions forum please, not here

  22. Hello Affinity,

     

    I would like to know if there is a possible reason why my computer only detects the integrated graphics processor "Intel HD graphics 3000" and does not detect the AMD Radeon HD 66650M 2 GB VRAM graphic card, this greatly slows down the startup of Affinity Photo and the related operations.

     

    I hope you will help me to solve this problem.

      Please do not post to the status area of staff. They do not tend to reply except in the forums where all customers can read the response. 

      Please ask again in the questions forum or email affinity@serif.com. You will also need to say what operating system you are working on and where you bought the software, as there are a number of ways to claim the content depending on your O/S, the version and where you bought it.
