If you change the EXE file properties to use the command line that modification would be lost in an update (which may be appropriate if this is addressed). If you make a shortcut to that EXE (and add a command line parameter to the shortcut)the update would not affect the shortcut and the command line would remain. [NOTE: You may want to put a shortcut on the desktop (for example) as the Windows installer now checks for an empty folder and a shortcut left behind after the previous version is uninstalled may not count as empty.]

@MEB Does this fix only affect guides on new artboards or is there a way to get existing guides to show correctly? [AFD-3598] (or did we miss a case?)

@360 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums It took all this time because we thought it may be intractable. The equirectangular code is very complicated and the maths involved complex. It has taken quite some time to come up with this fix because it was difficult, not because it was ignored.
