  1. Description The presets in the New Document dialog disappear after the app loses focus Repro Steps Launch Designer Open the New Document dialog via File→Menu or pressing ⌘N and selecting one of your presets Close the New Document dialog by creating a new document, pressing Esc, or clicking its Close button Switch to another app using ⌘-Tab or the Dock Switch back to Designer and open the New Document dialog again Expected Behavior The existing presets are visible. Actual Behavior The "My Presets" area is empty unless you click one of the invisible presets or switch to another app and switch back. Reproduces Every time (Designer 1.8.6, MacOS 10.14.6)
  2. Here's a screen recording that demonstrates the issue, which is presumably a result of the object's name having both a click event handler (to rename) and a drag event handler (to reorder objects.) Note that I don't wait for the rename field to appear; it happens automatically as soon as I start dragging the selected object. Contrary to thomaso's suggestion, this isn't behavior a user should actively need to avoid. If an object in the Layers panel is draggable, dragging it should never result in its name changing. drag_renaming.mov
  3. Description If you close the Layer Effects panel while editing a color in the gradient editor, the gradient editor will no longer open. Repro Steps Create a new document. Use the Rectangle tool to create a new rectangle. Click the Layer Effects button in the Layers panel. Check Gradient Overlay to add a gradient. Click the Gradient button to open the gradient editor. Click the color swatch to open the color picker. Without clicking away from the color picker, click the Layer Effects dialog's Close button. Click the Layer Effects button to re-open the dialog. Click the Gradient button. Expected Behavior The gradient editor opens. Actual Behavior Nothing happens. There seems to be a flag that disables the Gradient button when the color picker is open, and that flag is never cleared if the Layer Effects dialog closes before the color picker loses focus. If you go to the Color Overlay settings and open/close the color picker, and then go back to Gradient Overlay, the Gradient button will start working again. Reproduces Every time (Designer 1.8.3, MacOS 10.14.6)
  4. Description If you drag a selected element in the Layers panel by its name, the element type is appended to its name when the drag operation ends Repro Steps Create a new document. Use the Rectangle tool to create two new rectangles. In the Layers panel, name the rectangles "ONE" and "TWO". Select "ONE" using either the Move tool or the the Layers panel. In the Layers panel, grab "ONE" by its name and drag it to reorder the layers. Expected Behavior "ONE" is not renamed. Actual Behavior "ONE" is renamed to "ONE (Rectangle)". As a bonus, if you drop "ONE" without moving it, it will be renamed "ONE (Rectangle) (Rectangle)". The issue repros if you drag circles, layers, etc. The issue does not repro if the element being dragged was not previously selected in the Layers panel. Reproduces Every time (Designer 1.8.3, MacOS 10.14.6)
