Paul Wild got a reaction from Old Bruce in Highlight colour for actions turned on
Would be good to have a colour difference for actions that are been used so its easier to quickly see what's been turned on rather than the grey or a little darker grey 🙂 ..... maybe red ....that way you wont be checking to see if its on ....unless its just me 🙂
Also how about linking up to services such as Freepik in stock ..

Paul Wild got a reaction from Patrick Connor in Unsplash - no scroll bar
Might be an issue going back to the Unsplash crash a few weeks back but has anyone noticed the scroll bar is no longer there for Unsplash unlike Pixabay and Pexels

Hi Paul! Thanks for the heads up - I can reproduce that here and will get it logged.

Paul Wild got a reaction from Sean P in Select Same
Just noticed that in the select same feature if you choose to select something with the same fill and stroke colour it will only select the same type of layer ...not the search parameter.
Edit: ignore this , for some reason the luminosity seems to be slightly off by 1 point....not sure how that happened as I think I used the eye dropper to select the material for the curves from the donut....

Paul Wild reacted to Sean P in Affinity Designer Windows Customer Beta - 1.9.2.997
Hi Paul,
This is something we're aware of and with development to fix to prevent the crash. We believe it has been introduced by an external change from Unsplash on Tuesday, as it was working fine prior to that.

The My Account feature is likely to evolve, and may eventually allow synchronizing content that you have purchased elsewhere, or that you have created yourself.

Paul Wild got a reaction from loukash in Ability to change colour of panels.
Hi
On a future update it would be good if you could add into the hamburger menus ( On all 3 ) the ability to change the panel colour because some of the download resources are almost impossible to see if you opt for the light scheme in user interface.

Paul Wild reacted to redline.wolfgang in DXF or DWG file import in Affinity Designer
First, Affinity Designer is beautiful and extremely efficient tool. I like it!
I am doing design and artwork for front panels / operating panels of electric devices and machines. The drawings are available in DXF and / or DWG from Autocad (trademark). What would really speed up my workflow is the option to *import* DXF or DWG files.
Considering that these files can carry very complex information it would be sufficient to be able import only a single layer file or a single layer of such a file. This contains all mechanical data so I can be sure that the artwork will match the target device.
Adobe Illustrator has this feature.
Export of DXF / DWG files is actually not required for this kind of work.

Drawing a rectangle along a line, by holding right mouse as I drag, is causing major graphical glitches.

would be good to have something in the stable similar to after effects.

Paul Wild reacted to GarryP in copy and paste
Or, as an alternative to what Old Bruce said above, you can duplicate the object as many times as you want, select all the copies (including the original), and use the Distribution functions in the Alignment pop-up (see attached image).
There may be other methods but we would need more specific information to say for certain.
